Throughout the program, the students will acquire the knowledge on how to design, install, troubleshoot and maintain microcomputer systems and networking equipment
Students will also learn how to install, configure and administer operating systems from Microsoft and UNIX and study advanced topics in network management, communication protocols, security, web support, database servers, and mail servers
This program provides students the ability to be effective team leaders, think critically, solve problems and acquire new skills quickly
The program emphasizes the design, implementation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, management as well as the hands-on installation of networking, security, VoIP, mobile devices, virtualization and data storage
The co-op option is also available. Students who fulfill both the academic and co-op requirements will be eligible to graduate with a co-op endorsed diploma
