With a ranking of 40th worldwide, the University of Sydney has risen two places this year to become Australia’s second-best university. The university scores perfect marks in the international faculty and international student indicators.

3. University of Melbourne

4. University of New South Wales (UNSW)

The University of New South Wales (UNSW) is ranked 44th. While the University of New South Wales fell one place in this year’s world university rankings, it remains fourth in Australia.

5. University of Queensland (UQ)
