The Media department empowers students to become skilled, effective, ethical, and thoughtful civic communicators in a wide variety of media
Students will learn media theory — so they can understand the complex roles, functions, and ethical obligations of media organizations and professionals — and the practical skills that enable them to become successful media practitioners
The Digital Media Arts major offers a concentration in:
- Multimedia Development: Multimedia is the skillful merging of creative thinking, design, information management, development, interactive environments, and visual communication through technology
- Web Development: It allows students to pursue a design and usability approach to web development or a more technical programming approach
Upon completing the program, students will possess a thorough understanding of media forms and delivery systems that will enhance their power as citizens and position them for careers in the ever-expanding universe of media industries

Class 12th	No specific cutoff mentioned Applicants must have graduated from a secondary school recognized as an acceptable equivalent to a U.S. high school and they must demonstrate a record of acceptable academic success In general, applicants are expected to obtain the U.S. equivalent of a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA)

Additional info	English language test scores are not required for admission to undergraduate programs, but strongly encouraged The application is evaluated based on the applicant's academic performance in his/her educational system at home, and not his/her English ability. This system allows the applicant to be accepted to a degree program even if he/she needs English support before beginning a full-time academic study Students without TOEFL or IELTS scores are tested on campus with Accuplacer exam and Writing Sample and are then placed into appropriate coursework upon completion
