This emphasis will develop the expertise in financial planning practice and prepare to be a client-focused financial planner. After completion of the professional master’s emphasis in Financial Planning, students will be prepared to:

- Counsel others on tax matters

- Research investment opportunities
- Designed to help students develop the background and skills necessary to evaluate research and practice from a grounded theoretical perspective.
- The course provides a review of contemporary theories used in financial planning and household decision making studies
- Students will be offered with three tracks: financial planning track, a behavioral financial planning/financial therapy track, or a joint Master’s in Accounting and Financial Planning
