  • Interviews are conducted in person or via Skype by an Admissions Committee member
  • The Program office will contact students through the application system to schedule an interview if invited

Note: Due to safety protocols due to COVID-19, all interviews are currently being conducted virtually

  • While UT has no minimum score, the GMAT/GRE is an extremely important component of each application
  • The Texas McCombs MSTC Admissions committee likes to see an average of 600 on the GMAT and an average of 155 verbal & 155 quantitative

GMAT/GRE waiver requirements in detail:

  • If students have 15 or more years of work experience
  • If students have an expired score to consider
  • If  students have 5 or more years of people or project management experience

Students for whom the GMAT/GRE requirement is waived must:

  • Demonstrate quantitative abilities through work history, undergraduate record, or continuing education classes
  • Meet all other admissions requirements
  • Receive approval for the GMAT/GRE waiver

TOEFL Requirement may be waived for students, who

  • Hold a master's degree from a college or university located in the U.S. or from a country where English is the official language
  • Were educated solely in English for their undergraduate and/or prior graduate degree
