Established in 1877, Regis University is a private Jesuit university in Denver, Colorado. The university was founded by the Society of Jesus and is one of the Jesuit Universities and Colleges across the nation. The university received its institutional status of higher education in 1991. It is officially certified with the Higher Learning Commission.
The university is classified into five academic units, namely the Anderson College of Business, the College of Computer & Information Sciences, the College of Contemporary Liberal Studies, Regis College, and Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions. It offers a robust learning atmosphere with a student enrolment of more than 10,000 students. Also, it maintains small classes with a student to faculty ratio of 13:1.
Regis University offers more than 130-degree programs to students in several areas. Students can choose from Accounting, Economics, Computer Information Sytems, Education, Health Care, Humanities, Music, History & Literature, Engineering, and Math as their stream of learning. Other than this, the university’s athletic teams participate in NCAA Division II. 79 Student-athletes are named to an All-Academic Honour Roll in 2019. Also, it maintains more than 26 clubs and organizations to let students pursue their talents and interest.

It has a center for service learning which provides student charitable service, placement among the needier associates of society for those with work-study awards, and the development of service-learning components in coursework. It also helps students by offering support to complete their research.
The Centre for Scholarship and Research Engagement ensures the fulfillment of governmental regulations and university policies and provides support for student scholarship and research projects. Furthermore, the university has maintained a rich alumni network with over 78,400, working across the word. Some of the known alumni include Charles F. Brannan (Ex-Secretary of Agriculture), Dewey F. Bartlett Jr. (Mayor of Tulsa, Oklahoma), Steven Brault (MLB player), Campbell Brown (Television News Host of CNN) and John P. Farley (actor and comedian).
