The Master of Professional Engineering (Software) is a 3-year full-time postgraduate course delivering technical and professional outcomes that will allow the students to be recognised as an Australian graduate engineer in this field
The software specialisation addresses all aspects of software production from strategy and design to coding, quality and management
The program allows the students to develop the sound communication, management and decision-making capabilities necessary to interpret and discuss complex issues in their area of specialisation
In this course, students will engage in areas of study including advanced computer architecture, real-time computing, internet software platforms, and object-oriented design

Bachelors	65.0% Applicants must have either: Bachelor of Engineering degree with a 65 percent average, or equivalent qualification Bachelor's degree in a non-Engineering discipline with a 65 percent average, with studies equivalent to 48 credit points (equivalent to 1-year full-time study load) in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, geology, computing, or statistics, as related to the stream sought for admission If applicants have the equivalent of an Australian Bachelor of Engineering degree with a 65 percent average in an unrelated specialization, or a Bachelor of Science or similar (in a related discipline), they may be eligible for a Reduced Volume of Learning (RVL) of up to 24 credit points or 1 semester If applicant have a postgraduate engineering degree with a 65 percent average in a related specialisation, they may be eligible for RVL of up to 72 credit points or 1.5 years
