- Students will learn to troubleshoot, maintain, and build electronic circuits including microprocessors and robotics equipment.
- Approximately 700 hours of lab time gives hands-on experience in the correct use of tools, testing equipment, troubleshooting procedures, and soldering techniques.
- Graduates may continue on to the second year of the Industrial Automation diploma.
- As a student in this program, one will be eligible for student membership with the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of British Columbia (ASTTBC).
- After two years of practical work experience, student will also be eligible to become a CTech or CET member of the provincial professional association.
