- The aim of this programme is to deconstruct the notion of peace and shed light on the issues of peacebuilding
- The program encourages thinking beyond the mainstream and encourages students to make a contribution to the discipline
- The programme is built around a core of International Relations, but also draws on other disciplines such as History, Economics, Religious Studies and Law
- Students will have the opportunity to become involved in and benefit from the active work of the Archbishop Desmond Tutu Centre for War and Peace Studies
- Upon successful completion of the program students may pursue careers in international organisations, international business, community organisations, diplomatic service, education, political life and university sector
