  • This course allows students to study cybersecurity and cryptography, develop their research and analytical skills and complete an individual thesis investigating an area related to an aspect of online secure computer systems design and development that are particularly of interest to them and is part of their career development plans
  • Students will study the following three common modules with all computing master’s students; Modern Computer Architecture, Visual Object Software, and Databases. These modules cover the fundamental principles that students will need to be able to move on to a more specialized range of modules
  • Some of the optional modules are only offered according to staff availability and student numbers. However, Internet Programming and Internet Security modules are specifically, offered to all students on this specialized pathway

  • Applicants normally hold a recognized first or second class honors degree from a UK university or international equivalent in a relevant subject
