- Psychology is the scientific study of human behavior and experience. It uses a wide range of empirical and statistical techniques to collect and analyze information
- The course offers rigorous training in all aspects of research practice and students will graduate with exceptional skills in practical and theoretical aspects of the discipline
- Students will study classic psychological work, as well as contemporary research into the nature and determinants of human behavior, from the neuronal level through to the level of society and culture
- In year 1 module include developmental, social, cognitive, biological psychology and animal behavior
- In year 2 Students will progress to more advanced material, including developmental psychology, neuroscience, memory, language, perception, psychological disorders, and advanced social psychology, as well as conducting lengthier pieces of research under the supervision
- In the final year, students will carry out a major piece of research in psychology and they will also have a wide choice of optional modules
